  • 168 Large Concave Carbide Aluminum Studs reduce weight and are bowl-shaped to provide more surface area and sharp edges for superior control and confidence on ice.
  • 45NRTH designed these tires for extreme winter cycling applications. Not recommended for this product to be used with power assist bikes as the additional torque and system weight can lead to premature casing wear and stud loss.
  • Note, new studded tires require a “bed-in period.” Tires should be run in for approx. 40km (25 miles) on asphalt without heavy acceleration or braking to ensure studs are fully set. After this distance the tires can be ridden normally.
